A man from the aboriginal Tsou tribe roasts pork chops on a barbeque at the small village of Tefuye in the Alishan mountain range in central Taiwan March 2, 2005. The Tsou, one of 12 remaining aboriginal tribes in Taiwan, were originally coastal dwellers who were forced into the mountains by encroaching Han Chinese settlers from China. Like many minority groups all over the world, the Tsou are struggling to preserve their traditions in the modern era. Picture taken March 2, 2005.
