American adventurer Dave Liniger tests switches on the pilot control panel that will be used in the latest around the world by balloon attempt, December 31. Liniger hopes to launch his huge helium filled balloon from Alice Springs early in the new year in an attempt to be the first to fly non-stop around the world.
