The Jewish-born Roman Catholic Archbishop of Paris, Cardinal Jean-marie Lustiger, speaks at a conference in Tel Aviv April 26 on God's "silence" during the World War Two Nazi Holocaust in which six million Jews were killed. Israel's Chief Rabbi Yisrael Lou harshly criticised Lustiger this week for converting from Judaism as a boy of 13 during the Holocaust. Both men are survivors of the Nazi German slaughter of the Jews
