A WORKER CLEAN'S THE FRONT OF AN ADVERTISMENT BANNER IN SKOPJE.
A worker cleans election campaign poster of Macedonian presidential candidate Boris Trajkovski in Skopje November 13. Two candidates are vying to replace retiring President Kiro Gligorov, 82, in the second presidential elections since Macedonia gained independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. The run-off is in Sunday where Tito Petkovski of the opposition left orientated Social Democratic Party will contest with Boris Trajkovski, the candidate of the center-right ruling coalition. Both candidates have promised a way out of the economic crisis caused by the war in neighboring Kosovo.
