COWS TESTED BSE POSITIVE PEER THROUGH SLAUGHTER CAGE.
Cows peer out from the cowshed through the slaughter cage prepared at Dusejov farm near Jihlava on June 14, 2001. Dusejov's farm received a final confirmation that a cow from the herd was BSE positive and are now faces the slaughter of 139 animals from the herd. German laboratory results from the third test on a Czech cow suspected of having mad cow disease proved positive, confirming fears that BSE had spread to eastern Europe.
