Participants of the Kuala Lumpur International Tower Jump leap off from the 300 metre Kuala Lumpur Tower February 1, 2001. A total of 53 international B.A.S.E. (Buildings, Antennas, Spans and Earth) jumpers on Thursday took part in the inaugural Kuala Lumpur International Tower Jump held in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur's city day celebrations. B.A.S.E jump is a sport where parachutists make jumps from a fixed object as opposed to an aircraft in flight.
