Engineers of Malaysia's new KLIA Express train talk as they wait for
passengers during a trial run at its station depot in Salak Tinggi
January 12, 2002. Express Rail Link, or ERL, is a rail-air connection
train service with a seating capacity of 156 passengers, which travels
at a maximum speed of 160 km per hour for a travel time of 28 minutes
from Kuala Lumpur city centre to Kuala Lumpur International Airport
(KLIA). The service is scheduled to start operation on April 19, 2002
with expected passengers of 5,000 to 10,000 per day. The proposed
