The world's largest containership, Orient Overseas Container Line
(OOCL) Shenzen, leaves Malaysia's Northport in Port Klang, 70 km (44
miles) west of Kuala Lumpur, on June 27, 2003. The Hong Kong-based
323-metre ship, with a service speed of 25.2 knots at full load, takes
56 days to make a round trip in the China-Europe Express Service route.
OOCL Shenzhen is a SX class vessel with a declared capacity of 8,063
TEUs, making it the world's largest container ship, according to
