Maltese Special Police officers keep watch over the area around the US amphibious assault ship USS Saipan in Valletta's Grand Harbour October 28, 2000. The ship is in port on a four-day visit. Extra security measures have been taken in light of the attack on USS Cole earlier this month in Yemen which left 17 American servicemen dead.
