Team RE/MAX balloon pilot Bob Martin looks out of the main hatch of the gondola during preparations for his balloon flight December 31. Martin, 44, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, is part of a three-man team readying for an attempt to set a world record for a non-stop balloon flight around the globe. The mission is scheduled to lift off early in the new year, depending on weather conditions.
