FILE PHOTO 11JUL99 - Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, two of Jim Henson's Muppet characters and stars of the film, "Muppets From Space", arrive in a limousine at the film's premiere July 11, 1999 in Los Angeles. Promising to revive the Muppets, German family media group EM.TV & Merchandising AG bought The Jim Henson Company for $680 million in cash and stock February 21, striking a key deal in its drive to expand globally. Henson also owns the rights to well known Sesame Street characters including Big Bird, Ernie and Bert.
