The new forteenth Paris metropolitan underground railway line the "Meteor" seen here during its final stages of construction September 26. The line which will link Porte de Gennevillier in the north at Maison Blanche in the south, some 20km, will be an automatic system with no driver. It is due to go into service in May 1998.
