Volunteers carry food donated to Tarahumara Indians in Zocalo in downtown Mexico City, January 29, 2012. Workers and volunteers gathered food, medicine, blankets and other supplies to donate to the Tarahumara Indian group in northern Mexico after a devastating drought ravaged their crops and left them hungry and unable to feed themselves and their children. The Tarahumaras were driven to the mountains from their nomadic plains by the Spanish 500 years ago and in the more recent years they have been increasing forced deeper into the mountains by lumber, mining and tourist industries that have been creeping onto their land.
