Ivan Velasquez Caballero, a suspected drug leader of the Zetas drug cartel, is presented to the media in Mexico City September 27, 2012. The Mexican navy said on Wednesday it had caught Velazquez, the man the navy believed to be Zetas boss also known as "Z-50" or "El Taliban," in the central state of San Luis Potosi, in a boost to outgoing President Felipe Calderon's efforts to crack down on the violent cartels. The suspected leader of the notoriously brutal gang surrendered to the navy in the city of San Luis Potosi without a shot being fired, an eyewitness told Reuters.
