A Mexican plays a pre-Hispanic musical instrument representing the beginning of life as others raise their hands during a ceremony at the top of the archaeological site of Cuicuilco in the surroundings of Mexico City, March 21, to mark the 2000 Spring equinox. Thousands of Mexicans attended traditional ceremonies at the most archaeological sites all over Mexico.
