British artist Leonora Carrington, 84, talks during an interview with Reuters in her house in the bohemian Roma district of Mexico City November 11, 2000, where she has lived for the past 50 years. Carrington was born into the British aristocracy but ran off to Paris at the age of 19 with her lover, the Surrealist painter Max Ernst, where she hung out with other Surrealists like Salvador Dali, Andre Breton and Marcel Duchamp.
