Hundreds of Syrian Druze who surged forward past Syrian authorities and into the UN controlled central area of the Kuneitra border crossing between Syria and Israel December 16, are restrained as they wave goodbye to two Syrian Druze women. The two women married Israeli Golan Heights men and were walking to the Israeli side of the border. The unarmed multinational UN forces rounded up the Syrian Druze, all of whom were extended family of the brides, and kept them from entering the Israeli side of the border.
