EHUD BARAK STANDS IN KNESSET AT NO CONFIDENCE VOTE OVER ARAB POET.
Prime Minister Ehud Barak calmly stands in his Labour party benches inside the Knesset (Parliament) moments before a no-confidence vote is called over the inclusion of a Palestinian poet, Mahmoud Darwish, in the Israeli school curriculum. Barak's government won the no-confidence vote 47 to 42 but the opposition Likud wasted no time to proclaim it will do everything in its means to bring the Barak government down.
