A PALESTINIAN BOY SWIMS IN ALGAE FILLED RESERVOIR IN THE WEST BANK VILLAGE KARMEL.
A young Palestinian boy named Mousa, cools down in a green-algae filled reservoir in the West Bank village Karmel, August 5, 2000. Villagers use water from the reservoir to wash their clothes and for their animals, and for the occasional swim. Water is a major issue alongside borders, refugees, and the fate of Jerusalem which was the biggest stumbling block at last month's U.S.-sponsered Camp David peace summit which ended in failure after 15-days of negotiations.
