Foreign students protest in front of Israeli tanks which entered the
West Bank town of Beit Jala August 28, 2001. Israeli tanks surged into
Palestinian-ruled Beit Jala in the early hours and troops seized
positions in the West Bank town used by gunmen to shoot on a nearby
Jewish settlement.
