A PALESTINIAN MAN CARRIES FAMILY BELONGINGS PICKED UP FROM THE RUBBLE
OF HIS HOUSE IN GAZA.
A Palestinian man carries family belongings picked up from the rubble
of his house February 16, 2003, which was demolished by Israeli Defence
Forces (IDF) near the Dugit settlement, northern Gaza. In retaliation
for the killing of four Israel soldiers when their tank drove over an
explosive device on Saturday morning, the IDF razed with bulldozers
several Palestinian homes, claiming that they had been used as cover by
those responsible for the explosion. REUTERS/Radu Sigheti
