ISRAELI SETTLERS PRAY BY CONTAINER AT FIRST SETTLEMENT OUTPOST IN WEST BANK TO BE DISMANTLED.
An old metal shipping container with an israeli flag posted on a corner sits early October 19 on the barren hilltop "outpost' settlement known as Hill 804, so called because it is 804 meters (yards) above sea level, as a small group of Jewish settlers finish up their morning prayers nearby. This hilltop 'outpost' settlement where no one lives is to be the first of 12 'outposts' expected to be dismantled over the next two weeks under the terms of an agreement worked out between Prime Minister Ehud Barak and a group of settler leaders.
