Visitors leave the Ostrog monastery, some 45 km west from Podgorica October 24. The monastery was built in rock by St.Vasilije "The Wonderworker" of Ostrog, one of the four Montenegrin saints, in the 17th century. The relics of St.Vasilije and the monastery are believed to have healing power. The Ostorg monastery and relics of St.Vasilije is a major sanctuary for both Muslims and Christians who have been coming here to find cures for illnesses and pains since monastery was founded.
