The body of Mother Teresa is transferred from the Missionaries of Charity headquarters to St Thomas Church in Calcutta September 7 where it will lie for a week of public viewing. Mother Teresa, who won the Nobel peace prize for her selfless devotion to the poor, died on September 5 of heart attack.
