2 Dec. 2001
Las Vegas, United States of America
Francois Bennahmias, (L) North American president of watchmaker
Audemars Piguet, and members of pop group "'N Sync," (from left) Joey
Fatone, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick,
pose with limited edition watches during a news conference at the
Venetian hotel-casino December 2, 2001 in Las Vegas. "'N Sync" and the
Swiss watchmaker teamed up to create 200 limited edition watches to
benefit children affected by the attacks of September 11 as well as the
band's "Challenge for the Children" foundation. The watches, which are
guaranteed to raise $500,000, have been engraved with the signature of
the five members of the band and the watch boxes were made with a
portion of the stage from "'N Sync's" 2001 tour. Customers who buy one
of the timepieces will also get a pair of "'N Sync" concert tickets and
sound-check passes. REUTERS/Ethan Miller-Las Vegas Sun
