Australian journalist Ross Dunkley departs after his court hearing at Kamaryut township in Yangon June 30, 2011. Co-founder of the Myanmar Times, the country's only newspaper with foreign investment, Dunkley was found guilty of assaulting a 29-year-old woman and of breaching immigration laws but acquitted on other charges. He was sentenced to 30 days imprisonment for the crime of 'simple hurt' and fined 100,000-kyat ($125) in lieu of a six-month jail term for violating conditions of his visa, according to media reports.
