Nepali women, wearing white dresses and their mouths sealed, participate in a protest at Basantpur Durbar Square in the capital Kathmandu August 16, 2005. While dress are worn during mourning in Nepali culture. Nepal Civil society organized a protest sit-in program during which thousands of people sat in the street listening to the people from various walks of life criticizing the king and government for not granting full democracy in the country.
