Thomas Lubanga awaits his appeals hearing in the courtroom of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, May 19, 2014. The ICC is hearing arguments in the appeal of Thomas Lubanga, the Congolese warlord who was the first suspect to be convicted at the court since its establishment in 2002.
