An Edhi employee poses with an image of an unidentified man at the Edhi morgue offices in Karachi
An Edhi employee poses with an image of an unidentified man at the Edhi morgue offices in Karachi June 10, 2011. Bodies of the unidentified are photographed and filed at the offices for future identification purposes. About four to five unclaimed bodies are brought to the Edhi centre daily and are taken to a hospital for medical examination before being held at the morgue for identification reasons. If unclaimed, the faces of the deceased are photographed and their bodies are prepared for burial. To date, about 73,000 unidentified bodies have been buried in the Edhi graveyard, the Edhi Foundation said. Founded by Abdul Sitar Edhi in 1951, the foundation is a non-profit social welfare program in Pakistan. Photo taken June 10, 2011. REUTERS/Akhtar Soomro (PAKISTAN - Tags: SOCIETY RELIGION)
