India released 37 Pakistani prisoners from jails across the country on Friday as a goodwill gesture after the visit of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who came to New Delhi at the invitation of the newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend his swearing-in ceremony.
