Supporters from various religious parties hold a poster of convicted killer Mumtaz Qadri while shouting slogans during a demonstration against the sentence of Qadri in Lahore, October 7, 2011. A Pakistani court last week sentenced to death the killer of Salman Taseer, the governor of Pakistan's largest province, after he had called for reform of a law against blasphemy, a defence lawyer and state-run media said. The placards (L and R) read in Urdu: "Release Mumtaz Qadri with respect" and the writing on the poster (C, top) reads:The true lover".
