Akhlaq Ahmed, father Akhlas Akhlaq Ahmed who was sentenced to death for his role in an assassination attempt on Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf, shows a copy of his son's passport during an interview with Reuters in Rawalpindi, August 30, 2005. Akhlas will seek to appeal his conviction, his lawyer said on Monday. Akhlas was one of five men convicted and sentenced to hang for their role in the second of two attempts on the Musharraf's life in December 2003.
