Former president of Paraguay, Juan Carlos Wasmosy, is interviewed by the press in front of his house just a few hours after his home was fired on, January 7. An unidentified gunman fired at least three shots at the house early in the morning, adding a new element to the ongoing dispute between Wasmosy and former army commander Lino Oviedo, leader of a failed coup attempt against him in 1996.
