Former U.S. President Ronald Reagan fell at his Los Angeles home January 12, 2001 and was taken to a hospital, where he will have surgery for a hip fracture, his spokeswoman said. The spokeswoman said Reagan, 89, was in stable condition at a local hospital and "in good humor." She said his wife, former first lady Nancy Reagan, was with him.
