A wall of graffiti is seen at Caylloma street in downtown Lima
A wall of graffiti is seen at Caylloma street in downtown Lima, March 12, 2015. First, a mural depicting indigenous revolutionary Tupac Katari vanished from a hectic stretch of downtown Lima. Then a mural of a boy stacking bricks on top of books was painted over. On Wednesday, after a third mural turned yellow, Mayor Luis Castaneda confirmed his government was behind the effort - literally covering up the traces of his predecessor who had welcomed the pieces.
