Dog owner Cathy Sterling, whose seven-year-old Australian Sheppard "Boomer" died earlier this week, listens to Menu Foods executives discuss the recall of millions of cans of wet cat and dog food at a news conference in Toronto. An ingredient used in rat poison that causes kidney failure in cats and dogs has been found in samples of Menu Foods cat food, New York State officials said on Friday. Food manufactured by the Canadian company has been blamed for the deaths of at least 14 animals. REUTERS/ Mike Cassese (CANADA)
