Worker of the Brazilian state oil company Petrobras holds up liquid natural gas at the Urucu natural gas plant in Brazil's Amazon jungle, located some 650 km (404 Miles) from the Amazonas state capital of [Manaus], December 6, 2004. [Petrobras plans to begin construction in January of a controversial pipeline to transport natural gas from Urucu to Manaus, due to be completed in December 2006. The government is building the natural gas pipeline in order to create economic growth in the Amazonas state of 20 million people.
