director for the joint exercises with the Philippine military in
Northern Philippines, receives a sword from Philippine Army Colonel
Horacio Lactao, during the closing ceremony of the Balikatan exercises
at Clark Field Pampanga May 6, 2002. The exercises were held in naval,
army and air force camps in the Northern Philippines for three weeks.
