Archie Rivera, 26, a member of a Philippine group campaigning for international action against AIDS (acquired immune-deficiency syndrome) arranges the boxes containing the ashes of Filipinos who have died of the disease May 16. The group held a candlelight ceremony near Manila bay on Sunday to increase public consciousness about the desease. About 30,000 Filipinos are afflicted with the HIV virus that causes AIDS.
