FILIPINOS TOUR THE MANILA JUMBO PALACE FLOATING RESTAURANT DOCKED IN MANILA BAY.
Filipinos tour the Manila Jumbo Palace floating restaurant, owned by Macau casino king Stanley Ho which is docked in Manila Bay January 12 while workers prepare for its opening next month. The floating restaurant was condemned by Manila Archbishop Jaime Cardinal Sin, who thought it was a casino. An officer of the restaurant said it will offer only fine Chinese dining and probably ballroom dancing later but will not have gaming tables or slot machines when it opens. The floating restaurant arrived from Hong Kong on New Year's Eve.
