Members of Germany's NGO organization International Search and Rescue (ISAR-Germany) carry a patient, who was injured in a motorcycle crash, on a stretcher into their make-shift hospital in the yard of the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Palo in Leyte, some 15 km (9 miles) away from the city of Tacloban, November 15, 2013. The 24-men strong team of doctors, nurses, rescuers and logistic experts arrived in the Philippines last Sunday from the western German city of Duisburg to help the survivors of the strongest ever recorded typhoon. The team started their operation after successfully clearing lots of hurdles with Philippine officials, a week after the typhoon hit.
