A portrait of Pablo Picasso and two of his paintings are put in a corner before being exhibited in a museum in Ankara October 3, 2000. Four paintings were discovered by Turkish police in recent months in southeast Turkey and brought together to be exhibited in Ankara. Police believe the paintings were stolen from Kuwait during the Gulf war. Smugglers captured by police were planning to sell the the artworks in Europe. The painting at bottom right is entitled "Portrait" which portrays a Yugoslav woman named Dora Maar in 1938. The painting upper centre is called "Young woman", an artwork from Picasso's Blue Age in 1903.
