A U.S. Coast guard boat shines a light on the rubble of the "Heat" nightclub that collapsed into the Delaware River, killing three, in Philadelphia May 18. Rescue boats scurried to the debris-filled water near Pier 34 as city firemen and U.S. Coast Guard officials with searchlights pulled victims from the chill river currents near Penn's Landing. Some of the injuries were described as serious.
