Smoke fills the air from flames at a gasoline storage tank at the Magellan Midstram Partners petroleum...
Smoke fills the air from flames at a gasoline storage tank at the Magellan Midstram Partners petroleum distribution terminal in Kansas City, Kansas June 4, 2008. The tank of N-grade -- unleaded gasoline -- caught fire about 7:45 p.m. CDT June 3, (0045 GMT June 4) after being struck by lightning as storms raged through the area. The tank, which could hold 145,000 barrels, was about 20 percent full. Local fire officials initially attempted to extinguish the fire, but decided instead to let it burn itself out.
