CAPTAIN NGUYEN TRANH TRUNG SPEAKS TO MEDIA AFTER DELIVERING VIETNAM
AIRLINES' FIRST BOEING 777.
Vietnamese captain Nguyen Thanh Trung speaks to the media after he delivers
a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, the first long-haul plane leased by national
carrier Vietnam Airlines, to Hanoi April 17, 2003. The plane, one of two
leased 777s in addition to four that Vietnam Airlines will buy, is adorned
with the carrier's new logo of a golden lotus that replaces the stork and
moon. The aircraft will be used on direct flights to Paris from May.
