The new controller for Sony Playstation 3 is shown on a screen with the actual unit in foreground and upper left at the Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. 2006 E3 media event at Sony Studios in Culver City, California, near Los Angeles May 8, 2006. The new controller has a highly sensitive six-axis sensing system. It was announced that the the controller will be shipped with the Playstation 3 system which will be released in North America November 17 and in Japan on November 11.
