POPE JOHN PAUL ATTENDS A MEMORIAL MASS AT THE VATICAN.
Pope John Paul II looks on as a Swiss guard stands behind him during a
memorial Mass to commemorate his two Italian predecessors, Paul VI and
John Paul I, who died 25 years ago, in Saint Peter's Basilica at the
Vatican September 27, 2003. The Pope appeared in relatively good form
