YOUNG BOY CARRIES FRESH WATER DURING TRADITIONAL TRAYS PARADE.
A young boy carries fresh water during the traditional trays parade of
Tomar July 6, 2003. Every four years the central Portuguese city of
Tomar holds the Trays Festival and each girl makes a tour of around 6
kilometres carrying trays full of breads and coloured paper flowers of
her height along the old downtown streets. The 2003 Festivities were
participated by 700 girls and attend by more than 100.000 spectators.
