PALMAS, BRAZIL.
Members of Brazil's Kayapo nation receive instructions from their coach
during a soccer match at the VI Indigenous Games in Palmas, in northern
Brazil, November 2, 2003. Some 1,100 Indians from 45 ethnic groups will
compete in sporting events including tug-of-war, spear throwing,
blowgun and soccer from November 2 to 8, in the northeasten state of
Tocantins, near the largest natural wetlands in the world.
