Two-year-old Meena sits at a government centre for tsunami orphans in Nagapattinam, in southern India, January 17, 2005. Both Meena's parents were washed away by the the December 26, 2004 tsunami and she was brought to the centre by her uncle. Children made up half of the more than 160,000 people killed in the quake and tsunami that swept across the Indian Ocean from Indonesia to Africa, the United Nations says.
